The first step of your Sciton Skin Rejuvenation treatment is skin preparation. Your expert at Dynamic Dermatology will clean the treatment area and, depending on the module being used (such as HALO), may apply a topical anesthetic to ensure your comfort.
The Sciton JOULE device is then calibrated to your precise settings. During the procedure, the handpiece is moved over the treatment area, emitting precise pulses of light or laser energy. Because of the “HERO” and “Hybrid” technology, these treatments are significantly faster and more comfortable than traditional laser procedures.
Recovery varies based on the intensity of the treatment. For BBL there is virtually no downtime, and you can return to your normal activities immediately. For HALO, patients typically experience a “bronzed” look for a few days but can usually apply makeup within 24 hours.
