KeraLase
KeraLase is a hair loss treatment solution available at Dynamic Dermatology that utilizes a Lutronic ultra laser and KeraFactor serum.
The Lutronic Ultra laser creates microchannels in the skin that promote the body’s natural healing. These microchannels also help the skin to better absorb the KeraFactor serum.
KeraFactor serum contains synthetic proteins and growth factors that promote hair growth. The serum is coated with nano-liposomes; entities that aid in absorption to the skin. This allows for a more effective delivery of the various growth hormones into hair follicles.

KeraLase preparation
During the week leading up to your KeraLase treatment, it is important to avoid prolonged sun exposure. If it is unavoidable to be in the sun for long periods of time, we recommend wearing a hat or applying sunscreen to exposed areas of the scalp.
The night before your KeraLase appointment at Dynamic Dermatology, you should wash your hair thoroughly. Avoid any use of hair products from the final wash to your arrival for your procedure.
Make sure to come with completely dry hair on the day of your appointment.
KeraLase treatment
The KeraLase procedure is quick and painless. The Lutronic laser device will be used to create microchannels in the treatment area to promote healing processes. Once the entire treatment area is covered, KeraFactor serum is applied immediately, as the microchannels also assist in more efficient absorption.
The number of treatments varies for each patient depending on individual needs, but in most cases 6 treatments performed in one month intervals is recommended. It is also common to have 2 to 3 follow up appointments per year to keep consistent results. Of course, your expert at Dynamic Dermatology will continue to evaluate your results to determine the best path to maintaining your individual goals.
Keralase recovery and results
After your KeraLase treatment, you can resume your normal daily activities. Your scalp may be a bit sensitive, so if desired you can wear a hat or stay out of the sun for a day or two. It is also wise to refrain from swimming or washing your hair for at least 24 hours following your procedure. This gives the KeraFactor solution the time it needs to fully penetrate into the microchannels created by the Lutronic laser.
Initial results are generally seen after four to six weeks from the initial procedure. Scalp health and hair growth should become noticeable at this time. Improvements will continue anywhere from 12 to 18 months from the initial series of 6 treatments. As aforementioned, continued maintenance treatments 2 to 3 times per year will help these results stay consistent.
